It's with shaking hands and a fearful gaze I invite you guys to get a glimpse at my little alpha "Cool Guys Club".  The game is playable from start to finish, but needs some more content before I can safely say it's a beta. There's five "quests" and I hope you solve them all!

Hit me up if something is waaayy too obscure, if you encounter some severe bugs or if you find any of my little guys particularly stupid/fun/crude.

I've been inspired by...
-80s horror
-NES instruction manuals
-kinkeshi
-direct-to-VHS anime
-animal crossing
-coffee induced IBS (it's bad...)

What's the story here?
You are Johnny Cheeks, a crude little apple dude with a 'tude. For some reason you find yourself at the Cool Guys Club, a hip joint for shakers and movers of all manner of realms, dead and alive. Enjoy.

How do I play?
ESC explains the necessities.

Who did it?
Sound design, music, art, programming and so forth by me, Fredrick (except some voices by my daughter, and my pal Mattias Hammarin). The 8-bit font is Sprint 2 by Patrick H. Lauke. (Used under creative commons attribution license).

spooky but need fix

Thanks for trying my game! I'm working on making it more coherent (but not too much, since I like obscure stuff!). Great to see that you figured out a lot of stuff :)

How do I use the quarter? I think I'm supposed to show it to the blue guy, but I don't know how... Never mind, I'm just dumb...

Great that you figured it out! Was the first screen too obscure? It’s supposed to work as some kind of tutorial, but making things understandable is basically what I need to do at this point. That and finishing a lot of other stuff

Maybe the guy who started to snap his fingers would give you the whistle rather than it being hidden in a trash can?

yeah, maybe. I wanted to show that interacting with all sorts of stuff will yield result, but I’ll note the suggestion on my “ponder this feedback”-list
